Welcome 'O8

Mon Dec 31, 2007, 11:03 PM
  • Mood: Enjoying The Show
  • Listening to: Pictures of You
  • Reading: 101 Most Influential People that Never Lived
  • Watching: Nothing. There is nothing on after midnight.
  • Eating: Chips
  • Drinking: Diet Coke
It's 12:51 in my current establishment. The songs of New Years has come and gone, I've danced my dance (with a rather nice guy =) ) and I find myself in a whole new year. I personally don't want to see O7 go, I mean I've had some great memories, EFY ( I heart my fish!) Student Council (Like Vegas, what happens there stays there) and other little things. I asked a friend out on a date and I didn't blow up or disappear due to embaressment. I'm too sentimental, but I miss the good ol' days of O7.

So to my new friend, 2008: You have a lot to live up to. Not only do you have to deal with the US General Election (good luck on that), the War in Iraq, Al Gore's "Crusade" for the Penguines and the whole Russia-Iran stuff, you have to deal with my issues. And although I'm just .000000009% of the world's population, I have several I know are coming this year. So while you're facing the Iowa Cacus and trying to debate whats going to be our black plauge, the Bird Flu or Lead Paint, please remember that there is a student in the south who needs some memories and some happy endings.

Should old Aquantance be forgot? Heck no, then we wouldn't know anyone. Here's to looking at you 2007, we'll always have Six Flags.

Five minutes, epic, tragic, romantic, drastic, spastic, covered in plastic, somehow classic but overall fantastic.
